OK, I just had to do a big clean up on isle 9. Recc42, a respected moderator has recently banned nearly every member of this forum. I have just un banned you all. Rcc has also posted links to porn on this site which goes against site rules (which recc also deleted) I will write up the rules again soon. Recc has not been banned, Recc has simply been denied the right of being a moderator ever again. Please feel free to post all hates or flaming about Recc42 here. any further rule violations of this kind, recc, will result in a ban, then an account deletion.

I think something may have happened to SporeMods as well, as it is now has "restricted access".

I'm now posting a thread on sporebase warning them of hackers who may try to ruin the site. It's funny, a hacking site gets hacked!

Well, over the last month or so, various spore forums have been down due to someone hacking the sites and deleting things or posting things or doing things that go against the rules or physically damage the sites coding. What happened here on sporeleaf was: we think that someone got Recc42's account and used it who was not the real Recc42. The account posted porn and deleted the rules thread, then banned every non-admin. I stepped in and removed Recc's mod status, deleted the info in his post and un banned everyone. The rules have not yet been made again.

If you are on sporemods you should have received the email saying:

Quote :: The Spore Mods forum have been taken down temporarily, because they have been hacked.

They will not be back up until I can remove the hack, so please bear with me until the forums are backup.

Sporecheater, admin of sporebase told me via PM that sporemods was not hacked at all and there is no correlation between the supposed 'hackings'

Other people believe that Julian did it. Others believe Nick (otherwise known as Acer or nick12506) is to blame.

Some members have been recieving hate mail and some forum threads went haywire causing everyone in it to be downrated.
