... Bobcat! It was stalking them. As soon as it saw it was found out, it pounced for Hopes hind-quarters, malling them badly. She bucked it of, then she looked at the blue horse, wondering his action, or if he was just going to stare.

((Yeah.Why are you always the injured one?))

Clyde distracts the Bobcat before it attacks Hope even more however it pounces n Clyde,knocking him to the ground.

((Cause I like to be, now just play.))

Hope runs to Clyde's rescue, kicking the bobcat in the head. She turns around to see that she is much more injured then she thought. Her entire rear-end is shreaded, but she still persist. She comes back and hits the bobcat again, hoping for a reaction. Nothing. Then.... (( Vagabond, do something!!))

((I have to use an annoying virtual one on my ipod , also, I would use italics for thoughts and usually do but I also use them to emphasize so as long as you don't think it will get confusing...))

another horse emerged form the bushes and asked if Azur wanted to follow them. "Hope,do you want to go back to the cave? Your shivering.And you can come with us as well if you want" this new horse said. They all trotted off and soon sped up but Azur tried to keep his speed down and let them lead him to where they were going. The rain was getting worse, and it was soaking him, his hair and mane becoming matted and his ears filling with the icy droplets. He shook his head to get them out, but still there were more and more forming every second! They galloped and soon found a dry looking cave. Azur nimbly hopped up the few rocks to get into the cave then they all tried to get as dry as possible and out of the rain. The other horse, then turned to him but before he could speak, there was a rustle of leaves and a clatter of small stones. The shadows morphed and shifted and suddenly a fierce beast burst out of the shroud of darkness like a ball of hellfire and raging chaos ripping through Hope but she kicked, sending the writhing creature flying across the cave, it twisted and contorted itself and sprang back up hissing and making unthinkable screeching noises. Clyde, leaps in front of Hope to protect her and distract the thing, it hisses more and catapults itself at Clyde, smashing him into the ground. Hope runs and kicks at the assailant in the face and it flinches away yelping, but it still runs back, if slightly more cautiously. Hope kicks again and the thing squirms on the floor and then stalks about us, trying to instill fear in us once more. Azur had just been staring at the whole thing... but he had been building up rage and lots of it. His nostrils flared and he let out a long hot breath, making the dust on the cave floor swirl through the air. The creature slowed and made a slight advance but it's eyes widened and its ears pricked up and it's heart raced, Azur looked at it and it arched it's back in preparation, now that it was still he could see that the fireball had been a bobcat, it gave a small growling hiss but Azur was completely nonplussed. He breathed heavily and kicked his hind hooves in the dust, then his front hooves creating a cloud of fear all around him. the bobcat sidled backwards warily slightly shaking, Azur had had enough and as the thing gave out a final, weak and defeated hiss; Azur charged headlong and the thing scampered with all it's might away from him, but Azur was too quick and caught the thing trampling it slightly an then veering back to it's squirming form and flipped it up with his head then charged, sending it flying into the forest outside yelping and screeching in pain and horror, he heard a thud, some sticks snap in the forest and some defiant yet clearly defeated mews and screeches from the bushes and the thing limping away into the cover of the undergrowth.

Hope scampered away, amazed at the new horses fight. Or was he just like Night? He was a magnificent stallion, just like Night, but was he a bit to much like Night? She felt more pain in her hind-quarters, and fell to the ground. Is he too much like Night? She woundered, but her thoughts were inturupted by more pain. "Awhh," escaped her mouth.

Oh dear. "Hope,are you hurt badly?" asks Clyde.

((I don't see anything wrong with being descriptive, and as a matter of fact I think other people should make theirs longer. I am not on so often so I will be doing one long post not so often and you can all do lots of short ones in quick succession. May I remind you I a m the head writer... But I want it to be fun for you. You can do short snappy bits but I will stick with the way I do things, K? I'm not angry, just letting you know where I stand. I will post some action later but the iPod keyboard is really tedious.))

Hope tries to get up, but finds herself on the ground yet again. "I think this time I'm not going to recover so fast.)) She says, and motions the two to help her.

Clyde helps gets Hope onto his back,and they go back to the cave again,with Azur trailing behind.

Hope lays on Clyde's back, hoping that this isn't her time. I would like to meet more horses before I die,

Azur trots along behind the others, but because of his blue horse DNA he is not so tired from the fight as a normal horse but he feels it fair to stay at their speed. Hope lies on clyde's back clearly exhausted and wounded horribly, her backside had been shredded by the fierce bobcat. Azur felt sorry for her and asked "you going to be OK?"

and from above, death watched invisible to them hidden in a rift in time and space a paradox cloaking him from the mortals he does not wish to see his form. IT IS NOT YOUR TIME HOPE, NOT YET... he said to himself in his odd way that although unheard sent shivers down the spines of all in the near vicinity. then he was gone.

They arrive at the cave.Clyde puts Hope down to rest.He then says "i'm going to get some food.Do you mind if you get some water from the waterfall? It would help alot"

"Sure, the rain's clearing up too" and so Azur galloped away from the cave to the near by waterfall, he was so glad to be able to run freely at full speed and he lept and neighed and eventually reached the waterfall and spring. He was about to drink but then No, Azur, don't, it's poisoned, hunters! they want your hide and your meat!... No, no it is safe here, just a little sip - Nooooo! don't dooo iiittt... and that voice was drowned out as he lowered his head into the water and then pulled it out again, it was very refreshing. He then took a long cool drink of it, it was pure and perfect, so natural. But here was his dilemma, HOW ON EARTH WAS HE GOING TO BRING IT BACK?!

Clyde manges to collect some hay and fruit,and gallops back with it.He meets Hope in the cave and asks" Where's Azur? He should ahve been back by now."

Hope still slept as Clyde and Azur did there things, but she dreamed more of Night. They were both like him, Clyde and Azur, but Azur was too much like him. She tossed and turned, trying to out run him. Her mother was with her this time, though, and she told her to stay back as she fought of Night. Nothing was more horrific, nothing. Her mother lost badly, as she perdicted, and Hope started to run, but couldn't the last thing she wanted was to have another one of his foals, and she always felt bad after she got impreganted, because she then she felt like she was contributing to another birth of a monster. "No..." She tried to resist. "No!" She screamed, and then finaly woke up. She saw that Clyde had seen her, ((I'm just trying to make things interesting, since ya'll don't do it! So sorry for taking over your character for a moment, Clyde.)) and new he'd have questions. "Are you Ok Hope?" Was one of the first ones. "I'm fine, just a bad dream." She said looking down, trying to deture anymore questions. ((Sorry for that, you posted while I was writing.))

Clyde sits down,waiting for azur to come back.The two horses begin to eat."Are you sure you're ok? You look shaken,or something."

"I'm fine, really." Hope thinks for a moment. Shes never thought of what would happen if she found out who her mother was talking about

Clyde and Hope talk for a while and then begin to fall asleep.In the next day...((Finish it off))

... Hope wakes up and sees that Azur has found water. ((Vaga, just pretend that you found some magical way to do it for all I care.)) She remembers that she needs to make a herd, and quickly. "Guys," she promps them. "Guys."

Clyde,who had woken a few minutes later,was happily grazing when Hope calls him over."Yeah?"

"I need to say something," Hope says, as she prepars a speach in her mind. "And I need Azur's attention too." She looks at him, awating his reply. Is her paying attention, or not?

"Go on.I think he's listening.Well i am anyway." say's Clyd,awaiting Hope to speak out."We can always tell him later."

"OK," she says. "Well, I think its time we start a herd. I'm not sure who will be the alpha of you two, but I think it will be an even fight if you chose to have one. Thats the way we settled this matter back were I'm from."

"Big problem.What would happen if the one who wins can't lead the herd?

Azur had a few more refreshing drinks to help him think... aha! these plants by the waterfall appear to have hollow, bell like leaves for catching rain! if I can pull some off, i can take back water in them! He picked about 5 off with his teeth and managed to hang the filled leaves over his neck because of the long vines that had attached them to the plant. he trotted back and saw the other two talking about something to do with a herd and who would be alpha male.
"we can't be a three horse herd!" he said indignantly "that's crazy, we need to search for others, there must be others, this place is VAST! we should eat drink, sleep and tomorrow go and have a look around."
