This is the easiest base to start with. You can use any base to start with but the basic shape of the demon fits with this base.

The shape of the body should closely resemble this. You should have a thinner lower part, a thicker chest part (also for arms) and a neck with a slightly larger end for the head.

The legs should be fairly wide apart and the feet should be in line with the spine. Three parts to the leg looks best but it is really up to you how many joints you want.

Here are the arm placements from the front and side. They should be placed on a thicker part of the middle (chest area) of the body. The elbows should be behind the body while the hands rest just below the waist and aligned with the spine.
